What does ISIC do?

I. AIMS & OBJECTIVES

ISIC is a soceity for cultural education, and a non-profit, non-partisan organization with the following objectives:

1. Provide a forum for building awareness of Iran's culture and civilization
2. Promote Persia's language and literature
3. Expand Iranian studies
4. Collaborate with academic and cultural organizations inside and outside of Iran in the spirit of cultural exchange
5. Encourage cooperation between Iran, America and other nations
6. Establish grounds for increased dialogue among cultures and religions
7. Study Iranian fine art, music and cinema

II. Means: ISIC seeks to pursue these and similar objectives by holding

1. exhibitions
2. conferences, symposia, workshops, and lectures
3. film festivals
